First test call

Make your first test call to validate your AI bot's configuration and understand the complete voice processing flow: speech recognition, AI processing, and speech synthesis.

PREPARING YOUR TEST CALL

Before making your first call, make sure the following elements are correctly configured:

Check that your bot has a name, a company name, and an assigned task. Ensure that at least one document is present in your knowledge base and that its synchronisation is up to date. Finally, confirm that your phone number is connected.

UNDERSTANDING THE CALL FLOW

When you call your number, here is what happens in real time:

  • The call arrives on our sovereign telephony infrastructure, hosted in the European Union
  • The system automatically detects when you are speaking and when you have finished
  • Your voice is transcribed to text, in real time
  • The artificial intelligence analyses your request and queries your knowledge base to formulate a response based on your documents
  • The response is converted to natural speech, in the language of the call
  • The audio is streamed to you in real time, for a fluid conversation

MAKING THE TEST CALL

Simply call the phone number associated with your bot from any phone. At the start of the call, your bot automatically speaks a brief notice informing the caller that they are interacting with an artificial intelligence (in accordance with European regulations), then introduces itself with the name and venue you configured and offers its assistance.

Test different scenarios: ask questions about your menu or services, make a booking request, ask for opening hours, or simulate a complaint.

CHECKING THE RESULTS

After the call, go to your dashboard to view the results:

The complete transcript of the conversation is available in your dashboard, in the 'Calls' section: click on the call to see the full transcript, summary, and post-call actions. You can check the quality of speech recognition, the relevance of the bot's responses, and the automatically generated post-call summary.

Frequently asked questions

MY BOT DOES NOT ANSWER WHEN I CALL — WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Check these points in order: (1) your number is correctly configured in 'Settings > Phone'; (2) you are calling during your bot's active hours; (3) if you chose to keep your number, call forwarding is enabled with your carrier; (4) your knowledge base is synchronised. If the problem persists, write to support@artedusa.com.

THE BOT DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I SAY — HOW CAN I IMPROVE?

Speak clearly and at a normal pace. Verify that the configured language matches the one you are speaking. Enrich your knowledge base with terms specific to your activity to improve the relevance of responses.

Tip: Make several test calls varying the scenarios before going live. Do not hesitate to adjust the custom prompt based on the results obtained.
